Cookie Policy
Effective October 10, 2026.
1. What a cookie is here
A small file this site asks your browser to keep. We also use your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice. Both are covered by this page.
2. The complete list
Every cookie this site can set. If it is not in this table, we do not set it.
| Name | Category | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
strut_session |
Strictly necessary | Carries the form-submission token that stops another site from posting on your behalf, and keeps an admin signed in. | 2 hours |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Strictly necessary | Proves a form submission came from this site and not from another page open in your browser. | 2 hours |
strut_consent |
Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice so you are not asked again on every page. Stored in your browser, never sent to us. | 12 months |
_ga, _ga_* |
Analytics | Google Analytics. Tells apart a returning visitor from a new one so a visit is not counted twice. Set only if you accept analytics cookies. | Up to 24 months |
3. The two categories
Strictly necessary. The site cannot work without these, so they are always on and there is no toggle for them. They carry the token that stops another site posting a form on your behalf, and they remember your cookie choice so we stop asking.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4, used to count visits and see which cities people come from, so we know where to launch first. Off until you turn it on. Before the tag is even requested we set Google Consent Mode to deny storage; the script is injected only once you accept. If you never accept, Google never receives a request from your browser because of this site.
4. Changing your mind
Use the link in the footer of any page. It reopens the banner, and a change takes effect immediately: withdrawing analytics consent stops the tag for the rest of your visit and it is not loaded again.
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which resets us to asking you again. Blocking all cookies in your browser will break form submissions on this site, because the anti-forgery token is a cookie.
5. Who else sets cookies here
Only Google, only for Analytics, and only after you accept. The typeface is served by Google Fonts, which sees your IP address as any file request does but sets no cookie. We embed no videos, no maps, no social widgets and no ad network.
6. Questions
The Privacy Policy covers everything else we hold. If something here does not match what you see in your browser, tell us, because that would be a bug in this page and we want to fix it.
